Remove the battery from your vacuum and use a permanent ink pen to write the word RECALL on it and take a photo of it. Here is an example:

3. In the ‘Product Name’ field, enter the product number of the vacuum (either X-Force Flex 14.6 or X-Force Flex 15.6)
4. Once you see your vacuum appear, click on it
5. Fill in the name and contact fields that appear, including e-mail and phone number
6. Enter your street address, city, and state in the Message field
7. Under the Message field, upload the photo by using the clickable link or Drag & Drop the photo directly onto the form
8. Click on the “Send your Request” box

These thermal incidents are rare but can result in smoke or even flames. They cannot occur when the product is not in use.

As a precautionary measure, ROWENTA is voluntarily recalling the batteries for X-Force FLEX 14.60 or X-Force FLEX 15.60 vacuum cleaner models and accessory battery referenced ZR0097U2 manufactured before December 2024 to ensure safe and reliable use for its customers. ROWENTA has found that, in rare cases and exclusively during use, thermal incidents may occur due to a defect in a battery component.
